We are always in the market for certain used BAUER transmitters. We purchase them "as is - where is". All are shipped to our El Paso facility where they are rebuilt to meet or exceed original specifications. Blowers are cleaned and rebuilt, if needed. High wattage resistors are replaced if there is any indication of excessive wear or cracking. Tubes are evaluated and rebuilt as needed. Any non-factory modifications are removed and the circuitry is returned to the original. Since most Bauer FM transmitters are grounded grid, driver sections can be replaced with solid state to meet future standards. Tuned and tested on frequency, these Bauer transmitters are not new - they just look that way. They are ready for a second life that may be even better than the first.
